b. The witch was stirring her big cooking pot and muttering a magic spell in her garden.
c. Anansi was pleased because he heard the witch’s curse that anyone who said the word “five” would disappear, and he thought he could use it to get food.
d. The first animal that Anansi tricked was Mrs Rabbit.
e. The animals that were not fooled by Anansi were Miss Frog and Mrs Shrew.
