Dr. John Dolittle was a doctor for people. But he loved animals more. One day, the Cat’s
food-Man told him he should treat animals because he knew more about them. Soon, Polynesia, his parrot, revealed that animals have their own language. Dr. Dolittle got very excited and started learning it from her. He wrote down bird words and practiced them.
🌧️ On a rainy day, they worked hard at learning animal speech.
🐶 Later, his dog Jip came in, and Polynesia explained how animals talk—not just with sounds, but with their ears, tails, and noses.
Dr. Dolittle slowly became good at understanding animals. He stopped treating people and became an animal doctor.

धीरे-धीरे डॉ. डूलिटिल जानवरों की भाषा समझने लगे और लोगों का इलाज छोड़कर सिर्फ जानवरों का इलाज करने लगे।
Part 2 Summary (Pages 46–49)
Soon, many people like old ladies and farmers, brought their pets and farm animals to him. One day, a plough horse came and told him that he needed spectacles. Dr. Dolittle understood and got him green glasses to protect his eyes.
🏥 Dr. Dolittle treated more and more animals. He made special doors in his house for different animals—horses, cows, sheep, and even tiny mice.
🦅 Birds and animals spread the news about him across the world.
Dr. Dolittle became very famous among animals. He was happy, and animals trusted him.
